Tranvía nocturno Coyoacán

El día de mañana en México se celebrará el día de Muertos, ésta celebración durará dos días y Coyoacán es uno de los lugares mas tradicionales para celebrarlo por lo que me pareció interesante pasear por la zona. 

Ésta vez visité el tranvía de Coyoacán, un camioncito rojo y amarillo que recorre los lugares mas significativos de la zona contando su historia. Algunos de los puntos que menciona son la casa Azul de Frida y Diego Rivera, la casa de León Trotsky, el centro de Coyoacán entre otro. 

Sin embargo por la noches en el tranvía cuentan leyendas y cuentos cortos de terror mientras circula por las oscuras calles. Tomé el recorrido nocturno y la primera historia que escuché en el tren fue el terrorífico cuento de El Gato Negro de Edgar Allan Poe, después continuaron con leyendas propias de la colonia.  En el pasado Coyoacán fue considerado un pueblo por lo que está lleno de leyendas que hicieron la noche muy interesante abordo del tren. 

Los recorridos de leyendas inician a partir de las siete de la noche y pueden abordar el tranvía sobre la calle Carrillo Puerto.

Tomorrow in Mexico we will celebrate Día de Muertos (the death´s day)  wich runs for two days and Coyoacán is one of the most traditional places to celebrate it so it was interesting walking around the area.

This time I visited the Coyoacán´s tram, a tramcar that runs through the most significant sites of the area telling its stories. Some of the spots in the path are the Blue House of Frida and Diego Rivera, Leon Trotsky's house, Coyoacán´s heart among another.

However, at night, the streetcar tells legends and horror stories as it flows through the dark streets. I took the night tour and the first story I heard on the train was the terrifying story  The Black Cat by Edgar Allan Poe, then it continued with legends about the area. In the past Coyoacán was considered a small village so it is full of legends that made a very interesting night onboard the train.

The legends tours start at seven in the evening and you can take the tram at  Carrillo Puerto street.

Viveros Coyoacán

Durante mi recorrido me encontré con muchas lindas ardillas que hicieron el paseo mas ameno :) 

During the hike I met many cute squirrels that made the ride more enjoyable.

Viveros de Coyoacá es un parque nacional con hermosos senderos y varios tipos de vegetación, lo que lo hace un lugar refrescante y lleno de tranquilidad. Éste bello jardín es excelente para una caminata y es muy popular como espacio para hacer ejercicio al aire libre.

Disfruto mucho visitar los viveros por que me hace sentir que estoy en un lugar fuera de la ciudad  aunque en realidad el parque esta ubicado en una  zona muy popular, Coyoacán, por lo que es de muy fácil acceso. 

Quienes vivan en el D.F y busquen naturaleza deben saber que éste es un lugar ideal.
Éste año, en la ciudad se ha sentido un caluroso comienzo de otoño por lo que escogí un outfit muy fresco, casi veraniego. 

PD. Debido a que nuestros horarios ya no coinciden mucho, uno de de los cambios para el blog es que subiremos notas individualmente, pero seguiremos haciendo post juntas siempre que nos sea posible.

Coyoacán´s Nursery is a national park with beautiful trails and various types of vegetation, which makes it a refreshing and calm place. This beautiful garden is excellent for taking a hike and is a very popular place to exercise outdoors.

I enjoy visiting this nursery because it makes me feel like I'm in a place outside the city but it is actually located in a popular area, Coyoacán, which makes it easy access.

Those who live in Mexico City and seek for nature should know that this place is ideal.

This year, the city has felt a warm early fall, so I chose a fresh outfit, almost summer-like. 

PD. Because our schedules do not coincide anymore, one of the changes we´ll be having on the blog is that we´ll post individually, but we´ll continue posting together as much as possible.

Fashion & Boys

El post de hoy es un post muy especial, ya que le pedimos a nuestro amigo Javier participar en una sesión de fotos, porque queríamos hacer un post diferente centrado en la moda masculina.

Fuimos a Coyoacán, y mientras caminabamos encontramos algunos lugares increíbles para esta sesión de fotos, era un día hermoso y realmente disfrutamos haciendo esto. Espero que puedan encontrar la inspiración en las calles, como lo hicimos!

Today's post is a special post, since we asked our friend Javier, to participate in a photo shoot, because we wanted to make a different post focusing in male fashion.

We went to Coyoacán, and while walking around we found some amazing locations for this photo shoot, it was a beautiful day and we really enjoyed doing this. Hope you can find inspiration in the streets, as we did!
