Póntelo (Wear It)

xoxo.

On Wednesday we were invited to Guru`s Gallery to the opening of an exhibition called "Pòntelo" (Wear It). The concept was to unite mexican and international artists in order to defuse the message about responsible sexuality and Aids Prevention.
The Autumn Society is a group of artists that collaborate with galleries, and in this case they worked together with Guru`s Gallery and "Mtv`s Agentes de cambio" in order to raise funds for "Condomòvil" which is a project that disseminates information to Mexican society about safe sex, prevention and detection of diseases. This is a self-sustaining project that demonstrates to the government that we don`t need its money but this doesn`t mean it is not its responsibility.
The inauguration started at 8:30, some colaboradorators were invited and at the beginning they explained the main objective of the campaign, then we entered the exhibition where we saw works in different techniques inspired by the exhibition's theme.
At the end we saw many interested young pepople receiving information in an artistic and fun way.
We also had the chance to interview some organizers who share with us their experience; these interviews will be posted in future editions so keep tuned!
xoxo.

We are very grateful to the persons that helped us to elaborate this post.
