The transparencies were used by a lot of designers during the spring summer 2013 runways, specially in accessories, that is why I decided to present you this project that besides being on trend is really easy to make.

MATERIAL
tijeras/ scissors
plumón/ marker
masking tape
Botella de PVC/ PVC Bottle
Lata/ Can
hoja de acetato/ acetate sheet

 photo IMG_9630_2_zps24ede4e9.jpg

1.Draw lines around the bottle and cut them to form hoops, the width of the hoops will be the width of the bracelet. You will need 5 or more hoops

Take off the base and lid of the can, then open the cylinder by cutting the middle.

Tape the can with masking to close it  and wrap the cylinder with the acetate.

You will need a pot with boiling water, the water level must be higher than half of the can.

Set the can in he middle of the pot and one by one place the hoops around the can, make sure the hoops reach the bottom of the pot.

 photo IMG_9661_zps51125a45.jpg photo IMG_9662_3_zps888eb594.jpg

You´ll notice that when the hoops reach the hot water they will shrink around the can and they´ll wrap around each other, so it´s important for you to make sure they are exactly one over the other. Water must be bubbling while you put the hoops

Turn off the fire, take out the can from the water and wait until it cools down, as soon as you can, take off the can from your new bracelet :)

Hope you like this project, i love how it looks but most of all i like it because it´s a good idea to recycle all those water bottles sometimes we have.

Thanks a lot for keep on reading my posts :) even though i´ve stop posting so frequently :(

Some days ago I visited the grate Palacio de Bellas Artes, one of the most important cultural venues in Mexico. The construction of the palace began in 1904 and resulted as an idea to commemorate 100 years of Mexican independence, after the construction passed around several architects and suspensions, the building was finally opened in 1931.
At the beginning the palace was considered the national theater where only theater plays were presented, later the palace opened its gates to be part of different sceneries for mexican movies.

Currently, Bellas Artes presents not only plays but also painting, sculpture, architecture, opera, music and ballet exhibitions.
During my visit I came across with a mini exhibition that shows, trough old brochures, photos and advertisings,  a little bit more about the most important presentations that the palace hosted in the past.

For this look I decided to use the black and white trend because it is one of my favorites this season, it is a casual style but I think that with the black and white I was able to reflect the elegance of the palace.
